Re: Friends 18yo daughter
ah right, i knew mine was 18k just wasnt sure about that one! mine goes in on tuesday £160 for an oil filter and air filter change lol ffs
what functionality does it have?
if im right in thinking the megane one has different throttle maps and a boost guage, obviously no boost on the clio but what about the different maps, are they worth having on a 200 or a bit pointless? g meter doesnt interest me lol
Re: Friends 18yo daughter
mk3 DCi's are even more reliable than the MK2's (which are pretty reliable!!)
dynamique or dynamique S spec would be preferable but assuming thats his budget their isnt much chance of getting one! that one looks good though, if its only got 4 stamps in the book then...
lol @ selling due to change in circumstances, more like hes realised it needs a belt change/service and damper refurb and doesnt have £1500 to spare (i have no idea what it costs to rebuild the dampers btw lol)
i think you girls need some driving lessons, i can launch the dci off a wet roundabout no problem without the tinyest bit of wheelspin, and my current front michelins are nearly slicks ;)
lol owning a 172 is like the be all and end all on this place, 172 owners should stop wasting their money on old s**t boxes and move onto the mk3's!!
like your car dude, miss my little black dynamiques! k4m is a good engine shame its so thirsty! lol make sure you use renault or a specialist for...
cracker of an engine in a cracker of a chassis, it would be a weapon especially if you can use an R26 box with LSD?
pitty they sound so dull!! (as most 4cylinder turbocharged cars do!)
AVOID!!!! i fitted a set to a DCi 100 and they were the worst dampers ive ever came across in my life, infact i dont know why koni bothered devaluing their brand by making these. at least bilstein had the right idea with their oem range keeping them black and advertising them as standard...
i had never driven a 182 until aldo from here picked up his 182FF and i was surprized as to how different it felt to a ph2 172, nothing a set of sportlines doesnt sort on the 172 but it did feel more sure footed when carrying huge speeds over a backroad! and that was running budget tyres at the...
1.2 16v 1yr
ph2 172 2yrs
dci65 6 months
dci100 2 years
ph1 172 nearly 2 years still own it though
GT DCi had it from new, now 1yr old - keeping it for a while, best car ive owned!
how do they feel low down compaired to 172/182's? my ph1 eats up ground no problem doing 5k gear changes when just cruising about
surely the gearing makes up for the weight difference a good bit, my mk3 6 speed standard dci 106 with 180lb/ft is quicker than my standard mk2 5 speed dci 100 was...
what chassis is the modus bassed on? i cannot get the back end out on my dci at all, i can get the 172 proper sideways where im steering looking out the passengers window but the dci is bloddy planted!
if u need esp in a diesel clio you need your head checked, ive yet to ever have mine wheelspin even off the line going for a gap on a wet roundabout thanks to all that weight over the front wheels lol.
and no its not just as easy as connecting the pannel.
just warn him and it will be fine, our driving school cars used to go through wheel trims all the time, since we moved to Twingo Dynamiques with alloys we have had 2 cars do 100k each in 2 years and alloys are all as new, even the passengers side front! just by keeping an eye out and a bit of...
