They seem to be the right size but I'd wait for someone else to confirm that. Let me know how you get on with them delivery wise etc. Not used them before and I'll be looking at buying tyres fairly soon.
Lol. Not a fan of all the stickers on the window but I like the smiley face one with it's fingers stuck up above the exhaust. I saw a sticker of a pacman eating an STI badge in the window of a CTR once.
Fan belt hasn't snapped has it? not sure it it works the same on clios but on an old Escort that snapped and my power steering went. Other than that check your power steering reservoir to see if it's been leaking.
That would have been me, Heywood road near the Frendship. I was at my mum's giving my sister a lift moving her stuff to her new place. Hate parking there because people hammer it down that road and I can't put four wheels on the path because people push past your car and scratch it.
I live in Urmston near Trafford centre, use to live at the other end Ainsworth road when I was a kid so I'm fairly familiar with the area. 2pm? is that finish work time? if so you must be a postie :rasp:
Re: trade in price
Definitely sell it privately, garages will only offer you piss poor trade in values for it with the way the market is at the moment.
Halifax have been the cheapest for me for the past 2 years on my Escort and now my Cup. Still pay a stupid amount though being in the 2nd worst band for post codes.
I'm not certain, I'm going to check them properly tomorrow when it's light. It's getting serviced at Birchdown a week on Friday so I'm sure anything untoward will get picked up there.
I've not had a proper look yet, haven't you ever come across it before? Every car I used for work when I was working as a joiner ended up like that, due to carrying tools around alot of the time. Never damaged the shockers just left the car looking slightly odd.
The previous owner had a heavy sound system in the boot so with the weight it's pushed the rear shockers down and caused the back end of the car to sit lower than the front. Just wondering is there any way to raise the shockers back up to normal height or is it just a case of replacing them?
Always the way, spends months looking at potential cars you could buy (there's plenty about then) but when you finally decide to get one they all suddenly go in to hiding.
That's something I'd never realized until I read this thread, but thinking about it my 52 plate cup had locks on both driver and passenger doors, my 03 plate just has a lock on the passenger door.

Around here in Manchester you get shafted by insurance, some of the better areas are in the 2nd to worst postcode band and the rest are in the worst postcode band.

I had to wait 6 weeks for mine due to Renault Manchester not sending it off. Even got pulled over by the police because my reg was showing up on their radar that nobody owned the car.
