Utter tossers, no need at all.
Don't elephant have that vandalism cover? "acts of vandalism don't effect your NCB. Sure I've read a few posts on here about it and I think my policy has it (not with elephant though)
Maybe just going for the 182 manifold, decatting it and then getting mapped. I'd personally try and get hold of a 2nd hand manifold though, pretty expensive new.
Bum rapeage indeed, I haven't had any work done at Renault ever since they tried to charge me £110 for front brake pads and charge me for damaged engine mounts on a car that'd I'd had a month (they'd put a 12 month M.O.T on it previous to me buying it)
Doesn't surprise me when Renault are involved, although I'd take the right indicator bulbs out and wave my arm about every time I turned right before I paid that.
I can imagine lol. Mine doesn't do that though, if I move the stalk down it'll indicate to the left, but when I click it back to the middle it starts indicating to the right again.
f**k knows what the guy behind me thought when I was messing about with it when the problem 1st developed on my...
This has developed from more than just an annoyance now, when I indicate right the indicator doesn't cancel and keeps flashing for about 10-15 seconds after the stalk clicks back to the middle. Doesn't do it everytime and only does it when I've left the indicator on longer than 10 seconds...
+1 As someone has already said they'll probably not even check the wheels, think they only start going over your car with a fine tooth comb if they're giving you a high trade in value for your car or it's a small garage you're dealing with.
Alot of people revert back to the standard airbox after having the Viper fitted saying it felt restrictive, I had one on my previous Cup and it felt more responsive but that could have been psychological due to the noise.
Prospeed do have a good reputation, I got a quote from them last week and it'd work out cheaper to have a custom one knocked up by them than to go and buy an after market exhaust and fit it myself.
As Fil B says, you'll need to go down the decat route to get the popping.
Personally I'd wait the 6 months and buy the car out right, unless you're in a job that's really secure. Speaking from my own personal experiences, taking loans out can to turn out to be a real nightmare.
That insurance quote is unreal (in a good way) you must live in a low risk area. I got a...
Every time I press the switch to move my drivers side window up the right indicator flashes. Not really a major issue but it's f**king annoying.
Anyone else had this problem? Don't recall anyone else complaining about it.
If the fanbelt has snapped the engine will overheat very quickly, when that happened on an old Escort I use to have, I drove it home 15 miles and did the head gasket, also when the belt snapped it put a hole in my power steering reservoir.
I think it's personal preference and driving style to be honest, I may have over exaggerated saying they're worse than budget tyres, I was just ranting, but I don't really rate them, there's a few tyres I've seen people rave about on here and when I've tried them I've not been impressed.
Best...
Well I think it was flame red it was dark and couldn't tell properly, came past me whilst heading towards Kelloggs in Trafford Park. Overtook me and a red saxo.
Tyre pressures appear to be fine, checked them before. The tyres themselves are crap though so that's not going to help any, they're nearly on the limiters anyway so I'll be changing them pretty soon.
