i like it, colour is quite cool if a bit girly ;)
personally i think it suits the 15's i wouldnt bother with 172 wheels, set of clear side repeaters would tidy it up as long as you got the genuine renault ones. the cheap ones look rubbish
and of course the best mod you could do would be dual...
yes should always do them in pairs, on a performance car or anything other than a runabout! they get tired over time, so even though only one is leaking they wont be the same if you fit a brand new one on one side and leave the other on the other side
you mean a phase 1? this shape...
doing the swap you would be doing ie basically just reshelling isnt really any harder than any other engine swap, however when your picking up a mk2 dynamique dci which is a better speced car for under £2k, is it really worth while?
just re read your thread title, its a year 2000 car? so MK2 not MK1? in that case then yes its slightly easier but still a pain, the 1.5 dci will fit on the same engine mounts.
your best bet (obviously its much easier and cheaper to buy a dci however..) is to buy a crashed dci, swap the...
1.5 dci 100 remapped to 130bhp 200lb/ft wud be awesome in a mark 1 but sadly its not worth the hastle, and i mean it would be a mega hastle!, if you were to buy a doner car it would be easier but still a pain
apparently you could get 3 door ones in other countries, they are mega mega rare in dci 100 form id probably snap one up if i saw one just for the rare factor although id have to do a few bits n pieces before i was happy with it!! they would be ideal for a euro project!
you could get mk2 ph1...
cheers guys ill have a peak at the above, my 5800 has sorted its screen but now deleted all my numbers and ive lost everyone number with no backup, cheers!!!!
looking to buy a new sim free phone, ive always been a die hard nokia fan but my last 4 have been completely balls, my n95 lasted a year (18month contract) and my 5800 has just lasted less than 6 months and now the touch screen has started going nuts. and because it has no keypad i cant use the...
ive got they OE Pagid disks on my dci 100 and they are more than enough for fast road use, never had a problem with them, got EBC GreenStuff pads on it though they are pants lol first attempt at hard braking they are rubbish, 2nd attempt they are brilliant, 3rd attempt they are rubbish, 4th...
on 100k then deffo change the dampers too, i changed all 4 on my old ph2 172 when it had done about 45k/6yrs old for new genuine ones and it made a big difference!
its worth getting the tracking done after any suspension changes (or even just a long period of time as bumpy road surfaces can...
need to do them in pairs ideally, oe springs will be rubbish on these cars as they wont be designed to the same spec as the standard ones, if you dont want to pay for genuine then go eibach.
you could go for cheaper springs all round but most offer a big drop with rubbish handling. apex are...
standard paper filters flow better than foam ones anyway apparently, its just that paper ones loose air flow over time quicker than aftermarket ones.
personally id just wait till it needs serviced and stick one in, you wont notice any difference
wtf your cars not running right even after you paid to have it done and they are telling you they havn't had time to look at it due to "other stuff" un acceptable
maby consider a set of the pioneer renault fitment speakers no need for cross overs and they are a bit better than the standard ones! although its the standard head unit that lets the system down i just changed my speakers as one of the standards was faulty
