i love how the op asked for something different to the clio scene and so far we have bar 1 car, a load of clios with a set of renault wheels painted a different colour! lol
hmm thot they had AC as standard.
n/s is likely gearbox related, i get a funny metal on metal rattle from mine too as do some others, never worked out what it is though.
no it wont. rear end is the same weight as a 172, so will sit at the same height, front end is very slightly lighter and 172 springs are shorter so will still sit lower, just interested to see how it will sit due to the different bumpers, wheel size and wings.
of course, thats why ive paid for bilstein in the past, but as its only for my runabout i dont want to pay a fortune, recently got a set of koni STR.T dampers for it to match the eibach sportlines and genuinely never been so unimpressed by a mod in my life!! not what i expected from koni...
its not the full exhaust just the exhaust manifold, it bolts to the engine straight fit however due to the exhaust system on the 172 and 182 being a different size you need a custom link pipe, k-tec racing sell these in decat or sports cat form.
the RStuner is a box that you plug into the car...
ok so im fed up pissing about with useless aftermarket suspension, maby its just me but you cant buy a decent setup for under £600 these days!
now am i right in thinking to go for a 182 setup im going to need...
dampers
springs
front hubs
lower arms
ARB setup
(i want to do disks and...
personally the best thing you could do to it is a suspension refresh first. change the bottom arms (come with new balljoints and bushes) track rods, track rod ends and probably worth considering the dampers too, especially rears. this will tighten it right back up and make it drive the way it...
maby im biassed but id get a 100, especially since your coming from a vtr, my remapped dci 100 (£270 to have it mapped) is VTS pace, 2nd gear and up. 5th gear on the motorway its quicker.
ive had my 172 at work this week due to the nicer weather and on the motorway find myself dropping to 4th...

in my opinion the best thing you can do to one (mine is getting done this week) is new lower arms, track rods, track rod ends and depending on if its standard gear thats on it a new set of dampers and springs (aftermarket or original what ever you prefer) get the tracking and alignment setup and...
not correct that,
mk2 ph2 came in DCi 65 and DCi 80 form then mk2 ph3 came in dci 65, dci 80 and dci 100 form, the ph4 came in dci 70 form then mk3 in 86 and 106
