20k so far on my high boost remap on my 100 with no worries! apparently renault gearbox's are w**k but ive only had 1 fail in the 420,000 miles my mk2's have done and the one that failed had done 150k on the gearbox oil lol
it was working when removed from the car about 2 years ago, ill have a look it was in my 172 manifold i dont know if i gave that back to joe or not tho when i sold the car
my last dci 65 done 160,000 odd miles and never let me down apart from a gearbox going (turned out the oil wasnt replaced at 72k like it should have been!)
my dci 100 remaped to 130bhp does 55mpg no problem daily and will easily do 60mpg+ on the motorway if i want it to!
£35 a year road tax...

£1500 fully comp @ 19 with 1yrs ncb
£1000 fully comp @ 20 with 2yrs ncb

the problem is most people as the garage do you have the proper cam locking tools and the garage say yes, but they dont, they have cam locking tools for a renault that will fit the f4r but they dont do the job properly, you need the renault supplyed tools which no garage will have due to the...
not sure about the 197 but test have shown that yes paper filters flow better than foam filters, but foam filters keep their air flow consistent over use, paper ones lose flow over time

out of curiosity does the box need done or are you doing it for the sake of it or a previous bad experiance or somethin?
i thought thats always been the case or atleast it has for the last 5 years ive insured cars, not that any of my cars have optional extras.... or mods...
