Hello Oilman I have just purchased a load of fuchs titan 5w 40 will this be ok for my car that is used mainly for fast road? As i have read somewhere it is a hydrocracked oil. 50k 172 cup remapped Decat stailnless exhaust and itg filter.

How much coolant does the system hold?

Can anybody point me in the direction as to where I can buy oil in bulk. As gonna be doing a couple of 172's at a time and wondering if it will be better to buy in bulk.

Right 'o' cheers for that not driven it except on, off drive after doing brakes will take it out and see if its any better.

Any ideas why it would have gone out of adjustment?

I have just changed the rear brakes on my cup and all seems good. I have a small prob though for some reason the handbrake takes more clicks before it engages ( was about four clicks now about eight ) Is it normal to have to adjust the handbrake after new discs and pads?

Got a good plan to drown out the rattling was thinking about it myself. Imagine those babys in mondial blue :cool:

Recieved my rear discs and pads today. The discs come with bearings fitted and they do seem good quality (Prob made of cheese!!). Didnt fancy paying renault prices seeing im told the rear brakes dont take much punishment on the clio. Brakes international £110 inc Vat and delivery for discs and pads.

Done a few miles with it fitted now and the only downside is the vibration its only noticeable for ten mins when cold my dash rattles like a b**ch. Also the increased idle of rs tuner doesn't help. I have managed to dampen it down with some thick rubber that I cut to shape and fitted under the...

I didn't have enough cash-money at the time for a decent low miler teg type r which led me to the clio. I have a cup so there was not a huge colour choice. But when its clean its one of the best Rs colours imo.

sorry matey im being thick are you saying it does the same or you had the same pro :). It has only come on in the last week just been outside and plugged in the rs tuner. No fault codes present.

Mine rattles like a mo-fo since i fitted uprated engine mounts. Gonna try a mod to sort it hopefully tomorrow.

Yeah they look a bit dull, They were pretty clean but driving down to take some pics the roads were pretty sh!tty and it got dirty straight away. The blue cup has pro-lines fitted the iceberg is standard. Measured a 10mm drop on front with pro's compared to standard pretty much the same at rear.

Well fitted my drivers side mount today and it seems to have helped the knocking i was suffering. The decat i have has quite a large flange so since fitting it i have always suffered some knocking noises on acceleration. Also the engine movement the car has had when lifting off has virtually...

I have a 2002 cup that is CB1N and i downloaded 6400_2a07 (group N) and 6400_2a07 cal (Ron 98) I ask Henk if i did the right thing and he confirmed it was right hope this helps.

Got myself the drivers side uprated mount through today seems pretty solid gonna fit it tomorrow. Think i should of bought gbox mount to even out the stresses aswell but i have only recently replaced that one.
