as said, standard mounts are soft for a reason, most of us learned the hard way, 2 silly little bushes destroyed my box, and cat on my 1.2 16v and lucky enough my 172 got away with just the top engine mounts needing replaced to to extra strain put on them.

yep much thinner on the rear as they are solid disks, no need for vented rear disks on the 172/182, or most small front wheel drive cars for that matter
powerflex lower mount bushes was one of the best mods i done to my 1.2 16v BUT.......
its been one of the worst to my 172, on the 1.2 16v the other mounts were fine with the uprated bushes for thousands of miles and fine even once it was sold.
but its killed atleast one of the other mounts...
