I thought you hated your clio and it was a piece of s**t etc etc etc if so then id get the xbox? if not then deffo springs but id leave the refurb and filter and get uprated dampers with the springs if u can stretch to it
pretty pointless to be honest yes and not exactly fast although in a mk2 clio with some minor mods it would be quite fun to drive and a blast down a backroad
but i cant see it being anywhere near as much hastle as a 2.0 conversion, but thats all down to the ECU, im not sure what needs done for...
not worth it brand new will cost a fortune, scrappys if they have any yet but doubt it, you might get lucky though.
Its the same engine slightly changes in the head but nothing majour, the N/A 1.2 16v will cope with the power no problem.
it will all fit the only thing im unsure about is the...
gutted to hear about this mate, make sure you go to doctors first thing in the morning to get it on record of your whiplash, my mate got £1500 quid because he got it and was off work for a day.
his insurance still dropped the next year too when he declaired he had a not at fault claim and this...
NOTHING! i f**king love it lol same goes for my old 1.2 16v before it too!
both cars handled awesome, both were great fun to drive (1.2 was even more fun to drive than the 172 in some ways!) 172 is pretty quick, 1.2 was ok! lol
1.2 rattled to bits quite a lot due to the fact it was on...
red saxo R457 KDG if thats yours its in it! "I overtake and out-corner everything" lol nice
i got the mag as i quite like the clio, not a fan of the interior but love the colour, wheels are nice but id have raised it a bit more so i could run big spacers to have them filling the arches!
i done a bit of work to an old 2.0 turbo volvo estate a mate bought for a bit of fun and when running more boost the oem induction hose was being sucked closed by the turbos, causing it to drop of power just as it was about to hit max boost.
a bit of samco hosing and it was sorted.
different...
on the motorway sliproad ;)
lol only kidding mate looks awesome, bet its got some amount of torque! was having a look at them as the 172 costs me a bomb to run but their still mega ££££ to buy, maby look at one nearer the end of the year!
extremes a funny one, early ones were spec'd quite well, later ones wernt so well spec'd (the extreme 3 iirc didnt have alloys but had fogs and rear spoiler) extreme 4 had dynamique styling, sports front seats, cheapo back seats with no headrests, trip computer, manual wing mirrors, no rear...
yep exactly, i had one on my 172 but the vibration was too much (didnt seem to notice it on the 1.2 16v as much for some reason!? maby it was due to coilovers and being stripped etc it was more hardcore so wasnt as obvious?
yeah just a 1.4, im sure he bought it crashed or atleast damaged, and has spent thousands on it, i kinda know him through a mate, hes still at school to iirc!
