Nah, it's the dogbone mount.
Ignore it, it's not a problem.
All cars do it to some degree- it's the engine rocking on it's mounts as you come on and off the power.
We'll have it stripped in 45 mins, lol.
Nick, Dave, Ollie and I did a full car to basically bare shell in 3.5 hours.
No power tools. This could be silly fast.
I know on the 106 Rallye Register they've had Quaife design and build a quick rack and pinion that's meant to be perfect. Maybe worth a read?
Manual rack with the benefit of catching any mishaps easier!
At a guess, i'd say:
Engine (we have one that's just had belts done, new PAS pump (that cost £175 alone from Renault!) - £600 delivered.
Fuel - £650 (based on using Nick's BMW M3 and a round trip of approx 3k miles with tools, engine crane etc on board.)
Ferry - £75? (Dover to Calais)
