One this that does annoy me though - I've got over 200GB disk space and can't copy any films/music etc onto it. I have to plug an external drive in to watch films. Yeah good one microsoft.
ok so i've got several SQL 2005 maintenance plans scheduled - some run every night and work fine, others should run once a week, but they don't. No errors in the error log, they just don't run. They are enabled, everything looks find but fcuk all happens.
Ideas?

You can get a hell of a tv for £700 these days. You will get a top of the range 42 inch 1080p 3d plasma for that.

Its true, but it doesn't mean they are better. I also find it funny that people are gushing over LED TVs, when in reality, they are just LCD panels with LED back lighting which allows them to be thinner. Clever marketing by the TV manufacturers for what is essentially the same technology.
Its old technology but will produce a better picture. LCD has serious screen uniformity issues, clouding/banding light bleeding. i've experienced it first hand and thats why i'm wary of buying another.
I'm in the process of buying a new TV, after my Toshiba LCD developed some panel faults. They have offer my a compensation amount due to the fact that the TV is not yet 6 years old but they do not have spares for it. They have also offered me a new Toshiba at a reduced cost:
