Why would you turbo something and leave it looking bogo and not upgrade brakes etc.

The looking boggo makes perfect sense to me, why should it look different just cause its powerful?

As for the brakes, the standard brakes are actually pretty good with the right pads, for a road car at least.

Jack from MWM runs standard brakes still on his and just uses an agressive pad (pagid blue) for trackdays.

I know for a fact that is a bloody good car, he looks after it alot with regular maintence.
As for the brakes, its stops good enough. Pity he aint keeping it another year, I'd be looking at buying it to see about mounting the turbo on a small throttle body manifold type of thing.

I wonder what Darren has set the reserve to...

as said, why change the external appearance, this is a real sleeper!

A bloody lot less than I would have done that is for sure.

If the reserve is over 3K, i reckon he'll not sell it on that auction TBH

Not saying I dont understand how it costs far more than that to buy, but not an easy thing to sell on ebay really and that advert doesnt really get across well the money that has gone into it etc.

Well if it dont sell on there, one of the lads i hang around with on a weekend car thing has said he would happily pay around the 4k mark for it.

I think my mate wanted him to wait a short while for it, yet you forget with Daz now being a family man he needs a car that runs and is able to get a pram in with shopping too.
When the new baby is here in the next few months, it'll be a double pram with 2 baby seats in the back on top of that being all the extras too.

Would you wait a month or sell up and get some thing cheap and more likely to run and start every time? Plus not cost more than £xxx to fix said gearbox + clutch.
