i lowered on 60mm for wel over a year with no probs, now im lowered a lot more, changing springs is a 5 minute job, if your lowering for look, 60mm is the least you can go, (otherwise nobody will notice) however as said, 30mm eibatch springs do offer performance increase.

snapped one of the handbrake cables possibly?? the cable is split into two cables (one for each drum) about half way down under the car. snapping one would mean the car still holds itself, but youll have to pull it up a lot higher. jack up the back, and see if the handbrake is locking both...

frequency response of your standard speakers is not that important really, are you refering to the HPF settings on your headunit? if so, set it to the 70-80hz mark as said above. personally id never use 'bass boost' its on the same shelf as a power cap for me! will amplify some of the bass...

17s always work out bigger, no matter how much the tyre aspec seem to match up. as said, 17s on a clio just doesnt go, looks far too high, and the wheels are too heavy. get the standard 16s

Took a long drive yday, and now when traveling at slow speed, it clunks. It happens going over big bumps (speed humps), but also when changing gear, seems a lot of resistance when sliding from first to second (didnt try any othe gears) anything anyone can suggest? Cheers

clio B? do you mean mk2 ph2 182? (by your details on the right?) and no, im pretty sure you need 1*2 springs on an RS because of the weight of the engine, 1*2 springs in a nonsport will most probably raise it! lol

A 1.2 8v mk2 ph1 clio RN Grande. i tried to measure, but got confused if i was meant to measure from the centre of each hole, or by the closest edge. so if anyone could advise, it would greatly help.

fill doesnt add much weight, and the wheels are small, and normally from very good brands, so theyre not going to be any heavier, but the overly lowered suspension, does make things abit bumpy. the ph1 would be gorgeous if the front bumper didnt sag so much!! it doesnt have a rear bumper on...
