ive got money's waiting for the cage and wheels,
just give the a shout :P
cliosport might appreciate this car,
but it's appeal is limited only to those with taste,
and endurance to live with such a car,
and such people, would probs be looking at VW's rather than renaults unfort.

you would know where im based!
seeing as im sure you've sent the steering wheel i bought off you already!
Essex,
i dont mind taking the bumper off to have it done,
ill have to have a look around!
alize is 1.4
grande is 1.1
i snapped the cambelt on my 1.1
can fix it yourself for circa £200 assuming there is no damage to the head or pistons,
which is unlikely.
only way to find out is the strip the head down. I was lucky, i only had 6 bent valves!
however, £600 would be the going...
Can it be done without raising the car??
if i raise the car, and simply lower it back down after, it will put the tracking out!
im really not sure how tracking is done on car so not sure how easy it is to do on low cars!
the main problem arises because the car is a bit lower than low...
I'd go on the war path with them and make them find out why there is no date, and why it has been stamped for a service and t-belt change if it was only in for an MOT!
hopefully they'll be as intrigued as you, and investigate it,
it could be fraud!
Id be amazed if it hadn't snapped by now...
:D
buy a car off someone, fill out the logbook,
then call the scrappie whilst still at the sellers house to come collect it! saves even having to get it home!
and you get +10 man points if they give you more than you bought it for, infront of the previous owner!!!
as said, insurance will...
not reading the fine print FTL!
buy a £50 motor (complete heap!), and transfer the insurance onto that!
just leave it on the drive / get it scrapped and get £100 scrap value, and just keep the logbook!
then re-insure the clio!
somebody needs to revive this thread!
i didnt get to see all the pics, and now they're gone!
so infuriating!
can people post the pics again!!
damn photobucket!
id upgrade as much speaker wire as possible,
if you stint on the wire, it will bring the entire system down!
as for how they're both wired originally, im not too sure,
only two wires for each speaker come out the headunit, so im assuming they either split, or there is a crossover somewhere...
knowing the french, they wont.
tbh if you're after sound quality, it might be worth upgrading the wire thats in there anyways, its pretty pitiful.
just bite the bullet and take the dash off, if you're super careful and get some tips, it will go on nicely again. take the original tweeters out...
2-4 inches?? so the idea place to put tweeters is firing high pitched sound into your leg??
also the speed of sound (at sea level) is 761.21mph, i dont think your brain can process sound that quick lol
yes, having the speaker and tweeter in exaclty the same place will give the best sound IF...
how will hitting a socket onto the wheel nut damage the wheel??
plus i dont think the OP will want to use the locking wheel nuts, that he doesnt have the key to, again.
saying that, if the AA will indeed come take them off for you, it would be a much better option.
as said, get a socket that isnt quite big enough to get over the locking nut,
and smash it on with a hammer,
im not sure how you get the nut back out the socket tho.
doesnt even look personal,
plus with the rules on mis representing cars, you can only put it on a brand new car
"cherished"?? just looks like it came on a new car, who the hell will pay 30k to have blower written across their car?!
if you have a sound system, you could use the power wire there, and install your own switch.
failing that, a multimeter onto the old interior light to find the live and wire to that.
i may try and put my battery in it (from my daily) and see if that helps,
is it normal for them to just GO suddenly??
i thought they got worse and worse?
