Haha, it was Yeah! From Halfords I believe when they were trialling the auto finesse stuff? I didn't try the all in one polish but might be decent if the other two are anything to go by. Your interior looks great now Steve! With the PMS shifter it finishes it off nicely to be OEM+, I'd read...

But they're cheap when imported (350mm) and look decent!

Thanks mate. I'm after a smaller suede wheel really!

Soon. I've been eyeing up a 350mm one, but I don't know if it'll be too large. I want a sparco suede renaultsport wheel but cannot justify that price.

Well I went over to Bram and it was as simple as the steering wheel just not being perfectly straight when it was tracked up. Brad readjusted it and it's great now, steering wheel actually points in the direction i want to go :) Thought it was about time I gave the car a clean as it was...

    Specialists in West Yorkshire??

I went to Bram last Monday and he sorted all my alignment out. Nipped back yesterday as my wheel was slightly off centre but he sorted that in like 10 minutes. Spent the rest of the time talking to them about the Lexus they're taking the engine out of and Ethan also popped over as he's local...

    D11CUP RB182 project thread

Awesome job on those turinis. They had a fresh refurb recently? Strange with that ring of dirt/rust. Are you living far out of Huddersfield? We are wanting to move but most places with garages and driveways are expensive to rent :(

    D11CUP RB182 project thread

Haha oooops. Should be allowed to speed if overtaking slow moving traffic as it's the safest way to pass. Hope there weren't any hidden speed cameras in Wales as there were some questionable speeds 😧:unamused:

    Seat belts

Be easy to spray and lacquer them tbf. Depending how pikey you're feeling you can even leave them in the car and mask around them

    Seat belts

Theyre sometimes too far gone for the heatgun. Could try spraying them?

Try it on the rears first to get a feel of it. Once hot don't be tempted to touch the plastic as it softens proper quick.

I also looked into this. Most are crap and just easily remove with a socket. Stick to normal nuts

Anyone used slotted strut holes and camber bolts?

I run eibach camber bolts on the slotted top strut hole on my bilsteins. Makes it a little bit of a pig to adjust but is doable. Unless I've misunderstood your question?

    They easy to change?
  20. Louis

    BG 182

I think so! I've nothing else to compare it to. Often want someone else to give it a drive to compare to their own car! Ill get brad to maybe have a look at them. I doubt they've ever been changed in 127,000 miles

Daniel told me to check my rack bushes so I'll do that on Saturday morning, unless I can do it without axle stands? Tie rods and tres were changed around 4 months ago

    BG 182

I'm not sure. If I get it rechecked and it's still all spot on then it must be something else. Like I say sliders were all changed and greased up last year and id given them a wiggle recently and seemed like they were free. Front bearings have also been changed alongside wishbone bushes so won't...

It's doing it everywhere annoyingly. Wheel sat straight and it goes left. Tested on motorway, straight roads etc and it's the same. I had similar when I had those cambered spacers on the back but you can see how straight the rear is now so it should be fine. I only scrape on full lock very...

Any idea why insurance quotes on 172s & 182s doubled overnight for me?

Hastings don't cover mods which is a shame
  26. Louis

    BG 182

Thanks chaps! I'm very happy with it now it's raised up 5mm as it doesn't scrub as bad on full lock and sits perfectly. It's a lovely place and wasn't actually too expensive for 4 nights! Cheers mate. I think my thread updates are getting better as time goes on! The mesh was from eBay. I...

Well we made it! Took around 5 hours, but was pretty good time in the scheme of things. Roads were great, but at times very slippy or icy which was a shame. Followed a transit van who was proper giving it some down the country roads so that was actually pretty fun. Seemed like he knew the roads...

    My Black Gold (no)mod thread

Mint. I've got some ally that's the right bore size you can have if you want? OD needs turning down. You going to extend the base or go for a short shifter? Good shout on standard genuine stuff. It's silly cheap so only right to go that route.

Should be okay! They will be far better than those old bushes regardless haha. Driving to Wales tomorrow so will be able to test it then ;)
