take my advice,
NEVER neglect to change ur timing belt when it needs,
mine was due at 72k, 4k later jst before i got it done,
it snapped whilst i was driving,
i was lucking and only need 4 new valves, and a new cambelt and gaskets,
tho i will say, f**k payin that much just to have the belt...
was wondering,
is there any different between coilovers to fit and mk2ph1 1.2
and coilovers to fit a mk2ph1 172?
im guessing the ones for the 172 would be stiffer and the front,
but are any of the fitaments different??
lol at tweeters in the rear,
jst drag your soundstage to the boot,
i might go to a concert and face the wrong way sometime
wud give the same kind of thing,
you only need left and right sound,
i never use my rear speakers,
mainly because i never use my rear ears :P
why dont you just say you didnt get a cover note,
so he didnt use the car because you didnt think he was covered,
and you'll be damned if you paying for cover you didnt get.
surely if you OWE them the money,
they have already supplied the service,
they seemed pretty cheap when i looked at them...
checked the handbrake cable and its loose,
so its not the handbrake,
cudnt get my head around taking the drum apart so ill try again tomorro before it gets dark,
i dnt suppose anyone could post an idiots guide to getting a drum apart,
i took the cap and the bolt off, but it still refused to...
its drums at the back,
was trying it thismorning
but it wernt avin nun of it,
happened once last night as i was pulling away,
but came off pretty quick so i took no notice of it,
but thismorning they were well and truely stuck,
gna take the drum apart 2nite,
there anything spercific i should...
Got in the car today to go to work,
as normal,
reversed about a foot before it felt like i was tryin to reverse over a brick,
tried to drive forward bt it wasnt havin any of it,
feels like the handbrake is on,
when the leaver is down,
its not very limp so i dnt think the cables gone,
and it...
kept seeing a black clio 182 in pitsea 2nite,
had a clio sport sticker on the rear quartre window,
next to a ktec sticker i believe,
sitting on what looked like turinis and black lexarse lights
cheers wallop,
intended to use a 0awg wiring, wit a 150a fuse,
i shouldnt need no.5 because everything in the engine bay is earthed to the chassis, and so is the battery.
where do the other 3 points on the fused distribuion block go??
to all the other battery connections in the engine bay...
so what happens if i get 10 fans??
250 power increase,
lambourghini have been getting it all wrong,
screw v12, just 12 fans!!
almost as bad as those electric superchargers you see on ebay,
exactly the same idea,
but they even try n con you £115 for one!!
disgraceful
but funny how people...
how hard is this to do??
would i just run the power wire to the front of the car and connect it where the power used to run to the battery??,
and earth the negative to the boot floor??
what size cable would i need??
cheers
id put my money on the clio
zr's are normally 1.4 twin cam
they pump bout 100 bhp,
clio rsi is about 115bhp (might be wrong)
plus i wud imagine it would be lighter,
zrs are quite large cars,
mines lowered 60mm on apex springs
and on 13" rims it doesnt sit THAT low
im look farward to 2morro,
if u dig 4 holes for the wheels to sink into,
u might avoid some self ownage lol
have a flushed boot
so no recess on the boot,
and no recess on the bumpers,
was wondering where people would suggest putting the numberplate,
because i dont think stuck in the back window is exactly legan :S
id have the 182 looky likey,
no poind getting a powerful exhaust on a 1.2 imo
plus if its fitted properly, the 182 1 will look lovely,
and itll put u in a great place to make a 182 replica
agree with sayin tints too dark look rubbish,
thats why im taking mine off and getting a light tint,
really not worth attempting to tint them yourself,
the rear window is such an awkward shape on the mk2s,
the proper tinting shop took 3 trys before being happy with the result
was some debate on here the other day about using brake calliper paint,
cnt vouch for that, bt i used hammerite, n never looked back
n im sure u can mix yellow and red,
will be hit or miss with the shade of orange tho lol
rite, did this on paint quickly so its not very good
defs think you should
should look sumink like this, possibly abit lower
also, just wanted to add,
centreparcs its the f**kin dogs danglies, i go every year
:cool::cool::cool:
crank sensor??
usually the one,
however cant see how it wud have come out,
you checked all the fuses??
cud be a fuse to the feul pump or sumink similar
