I had this diagnosed for replacement during the Renault free 25-point check. Everyone else who I have mentioned it has asked what part do they mean??? Can anyone shed any light on this, they say it has a small amount of play in it and have quoted £144 for replacement.

If you have a noise when turning right, then its the left hand (NSF) bearing that is worn. Not the OSF. Unless it was mainly noisy when turning left before and youve changed the OSF which has cured that problem, just happens that now you might need the NSF.
