Them's the boys Greg.
Who was the maniac Golf we are talking about??
The goldy coloured one, he almost lost it at Halls, and every time he went round afterwards we took a couple of steps back.
Amateur lol.
I was in the mountain grandstand and I heard a massive screeeeeecccchhhhh. Then nothing. :rasp:
Saw it in scrutineering and mentioned the trail of pi55 behind it.
Good pics there Greg - I like them a lot.
That chap proper knackered his blue M3 straight after lunch, think it was the first lap after the outlap.
He came back up the pit lane and put both hands over his face, gutted.
Dave88 which inferno was yours???
I have a few pics in Jenics cadwell...
I had this diagnosed for replacement during the Renault free 25-point check.
Everyone else who I have mentioned it has asked what part do they mean???
Can anyone shed any light on this, they say it has a small amount of play in it and have quoted £144 for replacement.
They are pretty tricky to get hold of now.
I have a Monaco Blue 172 1/43 scale Universal Hobbies, which cost a small fortune
And a 1/64 scale Albi Blue Renaultsport Clio 197
Try an eBay shop called Carr Collectables.
Long time ago I was #15.
Still have a Clio but at moment driving round in a RB 182 Cup.
Wonder if any of the new[er] owners have my old Monaco.
Reg started RK03. Be interesting to see, especially when they realise it has already been re-mapped. Always used to run twice as good on 99ron with...
You are paying the XS for the claim on the Range Rover anyway, so you may as well get your car repaired.
You can as said earlier, nominate any garage of your choice to repair your car.
My brothers mrs has a Mazda 2 Sport and he nominated Chartwells at Derby.
They had a Gallardo, Ferrari 458...
Replaced the bulb a couple of months ago, and the renault 25-point check I had done flagged up that the number plate bulb had gone again.
When I changed it first time I went to the local autofactors and he told me what bulb I needed as there were no markings left on the original.

So mine will need a gearbox drain as it passenger side.
Can you get the cv joint on its own or can you only get it as part of the driveshaft?
Or is it false economy by replacing the cv joint on its own?
Hi Fred,
I've just written out what they put on the check sheet in the comments box.
2) am I right in thinking they have to drop the gearbox to replace the driveshaft?
My cousin has a garage a couple of miles away from work, I might get his opinion on these items.
I keep promising myself that...
Have just had a free 25 point check from Renault and they observed the following for which I havent got their price for repairing yet.
I will probably get these done at Renault or an independant specialist.
What should I be looking at for these????
1) N/S driveshaft outer CV boot split and...
They truly are the most un-nerving tyre I've had in the wet. :(
I have 5-6mm of tread on all four tyres [two brand new were fitted by Honda when I bought the car] and I've replaced two on the drivers side due to wear on one and a puncture on the other.]
I was going to replace them with Yoko...
Getting a droning starting from low speed and getting noisier as speed increases.
Irrespective of turning left or right. Its ALL the time.
Sounds like rear of car so assumed rear bearings.
Not associated at all to engine/exhaust, as I've turned the ignition off when going down the road and the...
If you have a noise when turning right, then its the left hand (NSF) bearing that is worn. Not the OSF.
Unless it was mainly noisy when turning left before and youve changed the OSF which has cured that problem, just happens that now you might need the NSF.
I have an EP3 (05) and a Clio 182 Cup (05)
The power delivery on the two cars is so different you have to drive them completely differently.
Driving them back to back there is little difference in acceleration - only at the bigger figures the EP seems to reach them easier and faster.
Handling...
I've had my arsenal of porter cable, transformer, extensions and the rest of the detailing gear about 4 yrs now.
Each time we have a new [used] car it gets a full correction to put it back to showroom condition.
The stuff has more than paid for itself over the time to be fair.
I take the...
Jack, you are best off trying to get an enthusiast to detail it, as long as they know what they are doing, professional route you'll have a bit more comeback if any probs though.
I'd say £160-£250 for a correction detail from a "detailer" , up to £350 for a crazy perfectionist job.
A keen...
I picked mine up last October Cerrone. Absolutely love the thing. Racing Blue is a real eye catcher.
Birthday present for the mrs. :approve:
You dont want me to tell you my insurance is £310 do you? ;)
Out of interest how much did you pay? Drop me a PM if you like - I paid over the odds for...
