Remap negates the need for replacement ECU in some cases.:) £ 275 RS Tuning Leeds.
Angelworks Tuning for matched inlet manifold £ 239 drive in/drive out fitted service.
Dont muck around with the replacement ECU's. Get yourself down to RS Tuning at Leeds.
They'll re-map the engine to the mods youre running, or intending to run and increas the rev limit to 7650rpm.
Like mine.;)
Am I right in saying the 1st one is gt_gaz's car?
My choice?......that one, I'm not too keen on the white wheels on the 2nd. I think Racing Blue is the best colour though!:)
Superb gt_gaz.:D
Love the seats, and a real mans steering wheel.;) Like it.
No ABS, no airbags. That Cup is now the epitomy of a proper raw hot hatch.
And i bet it goes as well as it looks.........top job looking after it like that for 71k!!!!
I have a Fuji S9500 9MP digital camera.
I need more storage and better speed.
At the moment i only have a standard Kingston 512MB card. I have a slot for an xD card, so could run two cards in the same camera, switching over when one is full.
Any opinions as to speed of the above? Looking at...
I phoned my insurance company up and told them it was stainless steel and offered no performance increased and was a replica of the original Renault system, just that the S/S one was half the Renault price!!
They didnt increase the premium at all. Yeah, like Ben says, play the ignorance card...
Nice.:)
See you got the embarrasing Rusty's sticker in the back window too?:o
The missus' car had one in when we picked it up, first thing I did was take that and the tax disc holder out!
SEAT garage, Scunthorpe by any chance?
Running any mods on the Clio ?
James
I heard Craigs182 on the Milltek site - superb, the 172 system sounds good too.
I was wondering about a de-cat, they're much more expensive for 172 than 182. Milltek do the 182 ones for about £40!
Was it you organising the group buy John?
Hows your Milltek for the 182?
Next time you're out on the A46 Lincoln to Newark [over weekend] road give us a PM, i wouldnt mind having a listen.
I was talking to Ben in depth about exhausts and he never mentioned developing one?
My powerflow cat back is a 2" system, but he thought the standard Renault system is 2.25".
The garage that made mine up put on same diameter pipework as they took off.:S And that was the original that broke at...
coolchris, I got your pm with moby yes. Just finding time to put an hour aside!! You know what the missus's can be like.
Seriously thinking about a Milltek exhaust and Bens manifold, though that would be around £650 all in!!
Think its gonna have to be one or the other, sounds...
You have the AWT manifold right Chris? As you're not far away [think you mentioned it] it would be good to discuss your mani and my RS tuning re-map over a drink now the nights are drawing out.
We'll have to have a mini-meet or even a Breakfast run......:race:

When my OEM exhaust fell off in September I needed a cat-back system pronto. Couldnt wait the 2 weeks or so to order an "off the shelf" one LOL, so managed to get a Powerflow the next day.
Fit is spot on, no rattles or anything, but now I have a bit of cash, I'm thinking of selling the...
My powerflow cat back is only 2" pipework from the cat back.
Though the o/d of the pipe coming out of the cat before the flange is 2" o/d.
However, the pipe entering the cat from the manifold is 2.5".
What is the standard o/d of the OEM exhaust anyone?????
Saw the red viper this morning too. 800 brake you say?!! It looked a 'tad' modded;)
I was over with BenR @ Angelworks.
Never realised how close both companies are!!!
Needed spark plugs changing and a bit of investigative/repair work doing on the car.
I can't afford the time out of work to get things done in the week so it had to be a Saturday.
Got in touch with Ben, who managed to fit me in 1st thing this morning - Cheers Ben!!
Should have had some rear...
Yep, standard if you want nice and quiet.
Pros and cons, you'll get a stainless one cheaper than a genuine Renault one, stainless will have a lifetime guarantee, Renault will have 12 months.
If the one thats just broken is the original, then you've not done bad. Mine had done 45000miles. I...
They are Renault specialists too. Full service facilities. You name it you got it.
Cold air feed shouldnt be a problem.
Why dont you give them a call or PM pmurray on here.:D
Like Fred says, RS Tuning at Leeds.
I live near Newark and went up there to have mine re-mapped.
Well worth the trip, about 75 mins door to door. Made quite a difference to mine, especially in low down grunt.
Do you have any other mods?
James
1. Gearbox mount, common fault, most Clios do it. Dont worry unnecessarily about it.
2. Sorry, dont have cruise on the 172
3. So does mine, give the pod a quick bang, it should go away for a while;)
4. Unlucky:dapprove:, its French remember, too busy sipping Vino instead of working hard.
5. Very...
