As Rich's recommendation to me a few weeks back, I cleaned my oil stained 172 engine cover with the AG Engine & Machine cleaner. Bit of a scrub with a brush to agitate product and hose off, it came up just like new!! BTT - spot on with wheels too. SRP & EGP means dirt will hose off easily...

I agree with Chris.:approve: When cold mine used to limit at 6500rpm, I've had a re-map and it limits at 7650rpm, but its really not worth going that high. I find its best to change at about 6800rpm, its not worth caning the ar5e off the car for the acceleration after that. Power drops off...

Bear in mind The Seer, that the power doesnt really come in til 4500-5000rpm, then nail it to the red line 7300rpm Just under 7000rpm is more realistic, as the power drops off quite quickly after that, although, you would be in the sweet spot when changing up to the next gear. Get used to it...
