I've got a 2003 plate 172 and my drivers side seat was looking a bit rough after 44k miles. The other seats were like new.
I had a Sweater De-fuzzer (Like the old Remington Fuzz-away?) bought for me as a birthday present to try and tackle this.
It's battery operated and costs about £10. Try...
Anyone got a pic of the part in question and where it fits.:S
Sorry to sound thick - only time I open the bonnet is to fill up the wash/wipe fluid!!!
I always get 40mpg+.......long journeys to work 50-60mph constant and car is always at optimum temp.

Claying doesnt take that long Dave.
It makes the polishing stage much easier and much faster IMO.

Seems a shame to do all the polishing sealing and waxing if you've not done the best preparation you can do.
I picked up a Megs clay bar...

My premium with NU was £400 last year and £530 at renewal!!!! WTF?
Like you Neil, I asked why and they said "premiums have gone up everywhere".
I ended up being able to insure my car and the missus' Micra with Admiral for £20 less than NU's renewal for mine alone!!
NU Direct are c*nts anyway Neil.
I've never had any accidents and my renewal in November was £530. Billion years no claims, protected etc etc.
They're c0cks. So I went to admiral.

Just to keep those of you who are interested posted.
Called Admiral on Friday, gave them absolute hell, they'd promised to call me back everytime I've phoned them for the past 4 weeks.
It was getting beyond a joke for me, so they got both barrels. Of course I was polite at all times, and...
Quality Finchy.
All round top job. Alloys look great.
What type of exhaust is it. Looks tidy, I went for a stealth when mine dropped off. However that looks the mutts nuts cut into the bumper.
