Sounds like it's bonded to the wheels . I doubt any wheel cleaner will shift it tbh .
Halfords sell a wheel cleaning brush , it's a bit like those pan scourers but less harsh . They are about 6 quid . Pretty much shifts anything . Or you could try using clay .
Renault do say that the 1*2's can use up to 1 litre per 1000 miles which seems quite alot to me . My 182 doesn't use a drop , my 172 never did either .
Maybe try a slightly thicker oil 5w or 10w - 40 see if it makes any difference .
Only cd's or dvd's i buy are for birthday / christmas presents . Everthing else is downloaded . I just don't see the point in paying when its out there and openly free .
^^^ Or just get one of those round silver disc dog tags and have your telephone number engraved on it .
If they can be bothered to contact boomerang then they'll probably contact you on your phone number , and it's free ;)
Just take your hard drive out and keep it if it's still working . Brake the pc up into small bits then sling it in your wheelie bin . I'll get my mum to do it if you want, she dismantled a whole gas cooker and disposed of it in the wheelie bin , lol .
The drivers side is a bugger to change with your hands if you have aircon .This is how i did it in the end . Plus a couple of pics of mine . If you do a search for led sidelights you'll find alot more info .
10th post down for fitting ;)...
I'd try wiping down the leather with a damp cloth first . Depends how grubby / ingrained it is into the leather .
I use Buffalo Leather Essence Conditioner , doesn't give it a shiny artifical look and restores the leather smell . A bit like Zaino Z10 ...
You move the wiper stalk down to the first position . There is a selector ring on the stalk for the speed .
I always have mine set on the fastest speed . Obviously it won't wipe until rain hits the sensor , but there's a fair chance it's gonna rain all weekend :(
You will have one on FF 172 . Its on the windscreen like you say .
Thanks to AmDaMan for the pic ;)
Personally i don't see why people have such a problem with the autowipers . I only use the autowiper setting when it's raining and don't find the need to move the stalk down another notch .
Bought 4 of them today . The guys at Halfords looked at me like i was mental when i asked them if they were only £1 each as they weren't marked up with a price , until he checked the price on the till ;)
Loads on yell ;)

Just go to a small independant . You might get a tyre for only a few quid if your lucky .
Of course you can get second hand tyres . They call them "part worns " . Go to a local backstreet tyre fitter , they'll have loads .
1mm thread is illegal by the way 3 points and upto £2500 fine  . I'd get it sorted asap not just for the points and fine but for your own safety .
Yeah your right , lol .
I read the first bit and that's what stuck in my mind ;)
" If the EU’s latest eco proposals are agreed, owners will no longer be able to shop around for budget brands. Instead, they will have to switch worn-out rubber with the manufacturer’s preferred original make...
Sounds like it would be impossible to police though , except come MOT time .
Might not be good for the consumer though as the tyre manufacturers could slap on a big price increase knowing that people will have to buy their tyres and not a cheaper alternative .
I guess it's a case of watch...
According to this atricle we might only be able to replace old tyres with the same tyre as was fitted by the manufacturer . Not that i'm bothered as i like the Exaltos and wouldn't swap em for cheap tyres anyway
Could be costly for some of you Billy Budget tyre buyers tho' ;)...
