Magic, I'll get a pack of some of the cheaper ones to try.
I had a Kent Luxury Wash Mitt, but it seems really w4nk quality, so I'm getting a lambswool one this weekend, is any sort adequate?
As far as I have read on here yes.
The burble also makes it sound like yr labouring the engine compared to the lovely smooth OEM exhaust.
RS Tuning quote an increase of 30Nm of torque on the 182's original 200Nm.
Dont' know about the 172?
pmurray on here at RSTUNING, Leeds.
I am taking my 172 FF over there to get "sorted" after having a S/S cat back on as i've lost some torque low down, but increased top end power. Sooner have the torque, saves me thrashing it all the time.
For my Monaco Blue 172.
I use Autoglym Shampoo/conditioner with lambswool washmitt
Meguiars Quik Clay
Autoglym Super Resin Polish
Autoglym Extra Gloss Protection
Usually dry after shampoo with Autoglym Chamois....people keep saying microfibre/waffle weave towels are better. WHICH IS BEST...
At the end of the day, if you enjoy driving your 182 and give it some beans every now and again, just think of the consequence of said tyre going BANG when you're caning it round a corner?
Not worth it IMO. Get it checked out, might not be as bad as you think. I took mine to Selecta-Tyre...
Just twenty minutes up the road then DARKO.
Usually go shopping in Lincoln, Notts is a bit of a b4stard to get to from here.
ps....139mph, hope you were on private road/airfield/track and not on the A46 between Lincoln and Newark.:o
It is quite a straight bit of road..........I obey the...
Wasn't knocking the quality, just an observation visually.:o
We do welding of a lot of structural steelwork at our place along with your normal stainless stuff, then architectural stainless stuff, so we understand the requirements of different categories of clients.
Finishing obviously comes...
Er, that saxondale sort of area?
I'm further up, where the A46 meets the A1 and A17.
I see a Titanium 182 on my way to work some days on the A617, other day saw a Megane F1! Cool.
I'll keep my eyes open for yr Ti 182 next time I'm down the Forest.:D
PS Look out for a Monaco Blue 172...
Mine eats 60 in second gear.
See youre from Nottm NEZ. Thought it was the Bermuda Triangle for Clio owners?
I dont know anyone else from round here - I'm near Newark.
Sorry Fred, I was talking to you a few weeks back about the 172 system. Forgot about the 182 topic.
I'm not disputing the quality of the BTB welds, I also hear they're very good, they just look like they're in need of a little love.
The Orbisoud system looks the cats ass!
ps Fred, i saw...
I thought Yozzasports was an adaptation, and correct me if i'm wrong Fred, an improvement over the old Supersprint system?
Also the welds on the BTB system do look crap. I'm not saying they are, but just a little pickling and polishing wouldn't go amiss for the price you pay for it.
Buying Honda/Toyota is one of the most sensible things anyone could do to achieve completely hassle free motoring.:approve:
I had an Accord Sport 4dr in Red. It was easily the most chilled out car I could imagine. Used to hit the limiter all the time, it was soooooo smooth. Did 55k miles in it...
Bizarre...
Fly by wire electronic throttle isn't it? :S
Someone on here will be able to point you in the right direction.
You're not having a very pleasant ownership are you?
Edit: Doh! Mike@Rentech beat me to it, just seen his post appear before mine
Re: Red Trophy in Morrisons?!?
Ok ok, I know....stating the obvious!
I think the reg plate is something like T3 DDE?
IIRC, think the same guy/girl used to have an inferno 182.
Aah....a man who knows what he's talkin about.
Rear curtain sync.....that's what its called.
Cracking technique, again all down to trial and error though for that ELUSIVE shot.
Best of luck lads.
Red trophy, Morrisons car park, Newark.
T* ***
See you most weekends when I do the shopping. My 4 year old goes "whoah...182 Trophy dad!!"
...and we have to have a look at it every week! Nice recaros.....
Are you on here?
Ah yes, and i love them in that colour too.
You can't beat a blue, er.. red, er... brown, er...y ellow, er... purple clio:S
Ditch the lexus rear lights and the front lights though...bit too much.
Needs a badge on the front IMO.
Nice paint job mate.:approve:
Nice pics.
Is that a monaco blue 172 i see?
You'll love it when yr tripod arrives......makes things so easy and so sharp.
Gonna get some up of mine, when i get my ar5e into gear.
Nice.
Just what I'd like next. Maybe the 5 door version, then I'd be able to justify the purchase to the missus. We've got a micra and a 172 at the moment. Not big cars to have with a young family.
225 bhp aswell eh?
Mmmmm........
Looks magic meggerman.
Boroboy182

Do a SEARCH mate, someone posted a guide on how to change the temp sensor near yr interior light with a video showing each step.:approve:
IIRC the part costs about a tenner and 10 mins to fit it yourself.;)

Found the thread!!! ^^^
Think Fletch123 has got this one answered:approve:
Dunno, mines an import.
Nope
Yes, usually. Mine lumps and burbles and pup-pup-pups!
Cooling down, steel/ metal components contracting
Its next to the interior light. It's the internal temperature sensor for the aircon, sometimes the fan...
