Just any household silicone. Clean the bodywork metal, and the gromits .. Bead of silicone round the hole. Put gromits in... Done.

Depends if it's a £5 air filter issue or a new engine, and if the car's worth £6 or £6k. Take it to a garage.

Could be a misfire from spark or injector issues, a random bad earth, broken throttle body, dodgy pedal, dodgy fuel, no oil, duffcoilpack, blocked cat, cracked block, dropped valve, blocked air filter...... Take it to a garage if you have no idea what you're doing.

It'll be fine... Lenses are more important than bodies until you're experienced, IMO.. That is about a 10 year old camera now though so it's up to you. IIRC I was looking at a D40 when I got my Canon 450D in about 2007...

Yeah same as you - annoying really ! I'm tempted to go back to Cyanogen TBH.. will give it a month or so. The main gripe really is the screen res. Like buying a 4K TV to watch your VCR on it .. utterly pointless !!

I thought they were great in 16" on the Clio. Had them in 17" on the impreza too. Absolutely no complaints at all.
