haha its bog standard silicone... nothing exhaust related! Silicone is the best exhaust sealent i use/can think of, the exhaust paste you can buy just dries up and cracks after awhile

hahaha at the "exhaust silicone" comments.. Any kind of normal silicone will seal an exhaust, better than all that paste rubbish aswell!

you need to hands of a 5yr old to do this job... and some massive extensions!!! Took me and a mate 3hrs to fit mine, scrambling under the car on axle stands, i used the old fitting kit and mine was blowing ARGH!

Ive seen that there a few times myself... think it must be somebody that works in the area?

This "specialist" box you speak of simply has a read cable, write cable and a flash chip LOL! the maps arnt exactly special, all clio 172 group N maps generic (the same) He hasnt messed the car up at all, he has the proper flasher cable, but the map he tried didnt work correctly (suspected...

Can you make it look brand spanking new... TBH it just needs a good going over with a PC polisher, got some swirl marks that make me cringe when the light hits them eeek! :o

Yours will be fine then, i topped mine up as it was only 1/3 above the low notch on the dipstick... maybe mine drained more oil than yours LOL

Right ive made a school boy error! :o Changed the oil and filter on my car, ive put 5.6L of oil in the engine... like a fool i thought it was 5.3L plus abit extra for the oil filter DOH! Stupid question, but am i ok leaving the extra in there, will it do any "damage"? :rolleyes:

alot of work, you would have to drop the whole subframe of the car.. That de-cat pipe wont fit, you need a 182 manifold to 172 exhaust system link pipe! Check the guide section, someone has gone through the conversion on there
