    I wouldn't go that far. Both the Cooper S's that have been in my family ratled as much as my Clio. As said the Supercharged ones aren't built like a BMW.

    I know a few people that rate Vredestein very highly, including my dad. The fact they're 215/40 is most likely your main problem I would say.

    Can i get away with just the aux belt change

    I left mine after being advised by my mechanic that the tesioner looked as good as new. He saw no point in replacing it, same with the water pump also.
