the problem is THEY DON'T use the sprocket tool (which is F4R specific, and genuine renault) , I've fixed issues for dozens of places that have used the incorrect cheap lazer locking bar, and used the wrong torque settings given by autodata. The local engine reconditioners get calls from garages...
the gaskets are metal, you wont split them ;) I would also say that it sounds like oil/water in the sparkplug well. You dont jetwash the engine do you?
that loom will fit other types of install, so it has an idle motor output for cars with the stock inlet. You dont need it.

i tried that once. Complete waste of time. if you want easier access to the aux tensioner just slacken the gearbox mount jack the engine up and it moves over about an extra half inch

When i did Daves with him, we painted it (and half my floor, sigh) pointed the fan heater at it, then went for chips. Came back and it had reacted, then when it'd been run on the car it darkened up nicely

unless your car was actually mapped on the dyno to that specific set of mods, then it will have been a generic map, the same as everyone else gets
use a multi meter, see which fuse gives you an ignition live. It's different between 172's and 182's and i can never remember which is which so have to bell it out every time
I believe thats because they have to though. I know other classes of motorsport prohibit doing such things depending which class you're in.
I see no downside to solid mounts personally
I know exactly how it works, this is why they had a sensor that gives a stronger signal in the kit. Not saying do it badly on purpose. That would be obtuse. Just dont be so dramatic over it. Never once had an issue once the different sensors were used.
