Those lower arm bush sleeves dont look like you've welded them in. Very important that you do or they'll move and eat into the subframe. Lovely build so far :)
it was £46+vat at one point IIRC
the one i use is identical, but cheaper ;)
The NWP ones dont fit because they've sourced them from the wrong vehicle IMO. They also seem to be different every time.
the seatbelt pre-tensioner uses the same pyrotechnics as an airbag. it's most like that that you are smelling. if the airbag had fired, you'd know about it
Hello :)
Trying to sort out a regular meet in or around MK at some point. in the mean time, come to my open day :D http://www.cliosport.net/forum/showthread.php?554579-519-Automotive-Open-Day
the boots dont split, the clips break off. You need good clips and not cable ties as the boot is plastic, and not rubber. I keep the proper clips in stock as it's such a common issue
I use an Orange Dongle at work. There's sod all reception on any other network. It works fine, but the software update they did recently isn't very stable. I reverted and it's spot on again
Fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu
how in gods name did you manage that????!!!!?!?!?! must have been over tightened surely? thats unreal, never seen anything like it.
it's best practice to replace shocks as an axle pair. You'll be fine to just change the rears without doing the fronts, as long as the fronts are in a usable state
very very rare for the waterpump to be an issue, and it's also not cambelt driven. I'd suggest Birchdown would be the only logical choice for your location, maybe not the cheapest in the area, but the job will be right
Dont know the whereabouts of the car, but i've seen that exhaust manifold up for sale recently, I'm sure of it (being that it's not the normal cast iron type)
I wouldn't fit re-profiled cams. 421s are very good, but as said are tricky on the standard ECU. Planning on doing it though, as last time i saw it tried, the available control of the ECU was far less. I just need to buy a car lol
