Most of the time its the drivers fault. My mate has a xantia estate run around running on s**t skinny remoulds and he can't half throw that thing around in the wet.
Hmmm i could tap into each inlet and join them with a chamber then place the MAF on that. It won't be perfect but a friend has a similar set up running his maf.
No R1 carbs. I'm dumping the EFI system but i'm keeping the ECU for the spark curve. Also if i do things this way i can't put it back to the OE EFI set up reasonably easily.
Right i'm getting a 1.8 16v as a run around. Since it won't be doing much i'm going to use it as a test bed. I'd like to fit the R1 bike carbs i have kicking around.
I can have a manifold knocked up pretty easily by an local engineering company who has made a few for XE engines.
I remember...
Right me and dad are getting a valver to share as a run around. Since our work vehicles get used more and more by our drivers we need something seperate.
He liked the last valver we had so we've decided to get a cheap one.
Thing is we want to insure it cheap as possible. Limited miles etc...
So far the best i can find is £279.99 at my local choices but as always they don't have any in stock and can't get any more for a week.
I can't find anywhere on the web that matches this.
My wireless network doesn't reach far enough into my house to give me a good signal in my bedroom (2nd floor, wireless transmitter is on the ground floor) I have a phone socket in my room though and a spare modem so can i use that??
I went to see an Ibiza Cupra that was a Cat D. The owner told me straight away. Talked me through the repairs and then offered to pay for a car inspection of my choice if i said i was interested. Top bloke. Wish everyone was like this.
