oh goody another myth is taking off
This isn't necessary at all unless it's actually noisy. I clean them out thoroughly with every belt change and it's been noted to reduce noise at idle by a few customers
never seen an F4R waterpump fail either
m6x1
the thread isn't in the rocker cover, it's part of the breather box, so you could completely remove it from the car in about 5 minutes if you wanted
mk4 golf?
Really?
and better tham a mk1 golf?
LOL
Lack of the 106 GTI makes that list a joke, it IS better than the saxo (interior, appearance and perfection), and was THE best hatch made in it's time.
Pretty sure Stan's reply was aimed at 2 Live suggesting you just stick the bigger valves in and it works. That would be pointless without having the seats machined to suit
ah right not bad. Still....that's just a ratio, the wheel and housing are small. Take a look at a T3 from a cossie for example, the exhaust housing is a lot less restrictive, but they're quite laggy
that turbo will NEVER hold 22psi, turn it down!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! no wonder you're getting drop off and power loss 18psi stable is what you should be aiming for, you're pumping in hoter air, not more of it
I think you've mis heard some of the details there, the Greddy Profec B wont connect to the omex, it controls boot independantly. Clever piece of kit and the only boost controller i'd ever recommend
mine's started doing it this week at exactly 20% throttle (very light) from 2 to 2.5k, and it's horrible in stop start. Plugged in laptop and the lambda isn't functioning so pretty sure it's that
i've not played enough TBH, BUT the 197/200 has controlled variation so you can adjust cam timing within a range (think it's 45 or 50 degrees) and change that timing throughout the entire engine range, so basically the overlap can be controlled, rather than just a switch point like the 172/182...
pretty sure it's about a 50 degree range
oh and cams in supercharged engines dont work in the same way as in turbo engines as you're not relying on the exhaust to run the turbo. NA profiles are pretty damn close to spot on for a Rotrex
this
K-tec are just low on stock (as are most powerflex sellers) because the powerflex factory burned down a few weeks ago
Check that this other place ACTUALLY has stock
