sourced a maxogen kit for my ph1, my question is does the ph1 172 have the acoustic valve just like the ph2 under the passenger wheel arch? i read somewhere the ph1 doesnt have one so obviously i wouldnt have to remove it. thanks. going to remove the cold air feeds anyway as they are taking up too much room behind the headlight where the itg trumpet will sit, i presume they need to be removed via the removal of the wheel arch also.

No acoustic valve mate

I removed my original air feeds by just pulling them out. Tidied it up a few years later by removing front bumper

I didn't remove the front bumper to get rid of mine. Managed to do it with the bumper on with a socket set, its only one bolt.
