had a similar though less severe occurance on a car that had spun off the road and bent the linkage rod. Changed the rod but looks like the selector has taken a smack as it jumps out of gear and wont go into 3rd most of the time. Quite a vulnerable place for the selector, much more common for it...
that sucks, not a bad run though. Brightside; at least you wern't stranded. When my gearbox died i was 40 miles from home, at 2am and the turbo was trying to fall off at the same time lol. Oh and I only had 4th for the whole 40 miles hehe
no, different things. Point was nothing's perfect, and they're VERY cheap. The bush problem has come to light very recently and a modification been made, to the best of my knowledge (info through other tuner/sellers)
Dreaming TBH, Nissan are way down the list, and I drive one (I know my nissan engines ;) ), Toyota tops it with honda not far behind. The RB26 is a LONG way from bombproof
all you remove from the coilovers is the nut that comes on them to hold them together. You need all the stock top-mount parts from the bearing up. Bearing, rubber, top-hat, slimline nut, and the cap that goes on from above the strut
Prices really wont be far off. To get the best price for CNC machining we need to get a batch made so you get the best price possible :) We have a ballpark in mind and it's going to be within reach, but not pricing publicly until we're sure :)
edit - jinx, I type too slow
Probably the coolest place in the bay, with direct airflow through the grille. Ben p is kind of right, the charger will heat the air up more than the rad would ever, but it's still ideal to get intake temps as cool as possible.
which plenum are you using? looks like there's no idle control valve on it, which you need on a ph1 engine/ECU setup.
Does it run if you hold the throttle open a bit? you might get away with adjusting the throttle stop. It wont be spot on though
I've seen 40k sheds and 90k minters. It's ALL about condition and maintenance with performance cars. Personally I'd start with a shed and make it right for me, but i can't live with standard cars, so most of what goes wrong would be changed ASAP anyway
