He’s a generic parts manufacturer the same as mahle and payen etc etc. Karl Schmidt is one of the better ones out there though. The likes of INA however, are not.
All depends on if it’s a refresh, or you’ve replaced the pistons and rods with aftermarket items. If you have, it’s a world of potential pain with an f4r

The plates for the bearing were designed to stop the box cracking from the load/unload of a wheel breaking traction. Combine that with the helical gears that are constantly trying to force themselves...

Crank pins in the right place, slots for the cams is correct......but it doesn’t make sense!

I’m pretty sure the crank sensor is the same mate, but there’s 2 types from memory. The plugs on the mk3 are also the 3 prong type.
Put a pic up and I’ll confirm on the crank sensor.
