That's what it's like looking for mate without being there in person to check a few things. Earth crowns coming loose on the dash bar can create some strange issues like this though as well.
I did 230bhp using a 197 head and inlet alongside some exotic R3 pistons and cams mate. Not cheap, but did the job. I also used a pms exhaust manifold.
Unless you're fully prepared for the cost implications, I'd just put some 438's in and get it remapped mate.

Well mines an FF with cup chassis. It's also lowered on h&r springs, and the handling is phenomenal tbh from standard dampers and lowering springs. Doing a track day or ring trip in my 200 is something I'm looking forward to. Because I've got creature comforts like a/c! Lol
