I know! Will these people never learn?! Lol! I'm amazed that they've not shaved the bump off tbh in a similar way they've shaved flugplatz.
I've been over that bump at 145 and the back end stepped out. In a nova. I have it on video as well, albeit crap quality. Luckily for us it didn't go wrong...
Found this on here mate. Maybe worth a try.
Special precautions to be taken during the brake circuit bleeding operation:
– The vehicle ignition must be off to ensure that the hydraulic unit solenoid valves do not operate.
This procedure, known as conventional bleeding, can be applied after...
Have you tried bleeding it up properly out of interest? You need Clip or an Rs tuner to bleed them properly, so it could be a simple fix mate tbh. Doubtful, but nothing wrong with being optimistic!
Going from a 600cc up to the litre club is a very different riding experience altogether mate! You're gonna have some fun! Want to power wheelie at 120? They will happily and easily raise their nose when you crack the throttle open even at 120. Lol!!
Lol! The shifter is still in the box mate. Cba to fit it until after the mapping. If I get time I'll look at fitting it, but the oil pressure/temp gauge is more important currently.
You need to tap them in so they're out at the top and in at the bottom slightly mate. I use the end of the crank as a guide for if its sitting level as well.
Cheers mate. Not be long now!
Yeah they're a really clever solution, and look to be very well made.
I couldn't give a tinkers f**k if they lock or not tbh. My aerocatches aren't locking items either - my comment was aimed more towards the guys who like to lock their bonnet shut really mate...
The issue is that people knock them in so they're level with the block face - which is actually on the piss!
They are awkward, but not impossible to do without a leak afterwards.
Had a delivery of the pitking quick release catches today. I'll be using these on my front bumper now it needs a bit of therapy for clearance.
First impressions on them are, WOW! They're seriously strong enough to use as bonnet catches!! Not only are they smaller than aerocatches, they won't...
Thanks mate. Yeah it's taken longer than I anticipated, but it's definitely nice to be almost at the finish line.
I did however manage to remember that I've still got my oil pressure/temp gauge to install still. That means fun times fighting the dash top past the roll cage. 🙈
