He's going to take the air feed from the scuttle panel mate as it's an ideal place to take it from. The Clio 16v/williams Grp a cars used to take theirs from the same place.
Well you might be lucky enough to get a compression fitting on the remaining steel pipe, but not 100% on that. Might be worth calling pirtek to see if someone will come out and repair it on the drive rather than have to rave it all out.
I'm struggling to get a mental image of which part your on about mate. Can you upload a pic?
There's a few brackets here and there that hold it in place and it also passes under the gearbox mount from memory. It's just generally an awkward t**t to get out.
Well to get the pipe out in one piece is quite simply, a f**king mission.
For the ruined fitting, you need mole grips/vice grips. Get them nice and tight and it should move.
Last years prices were £1030 for the Quaife including them fitting the crownwheel and delivering it back.
Grippers were £1125 i my retaining your oe crownwheel, and includes the adapter plate + they welded it onto the plate, or £1525 for a gripper crownwheel and pinion.
They're delivered...

We got caught out by the weather mate completely. It was bone dry in the uk so I didn't put the grommets in. Not the same story when we were over there though! Lol! The water collected in the bottom section of the vent as, so when you went round a corner you got soaked in cold water!!
Yeah the...
Yeah that's it mate, or when your on your way to spa for your stag do to watch a bit of f1 and it's absolutely howling down with rain!! I was cold, wet and extremely pissed off! Lol
I can't help but feel that the loom would've been better if it had been finished with a covering of raychem. Considering the amount of time and effort you've gone too already, the loom would've been worth the additional effort imo.
Trust me mate, all you'll find in that neck of the woods are skets. They'll probably want you to bang them whilst their other half is hidden in the wardrobe, watching and wearing a Spider-Man outfit. Ready and waiting to jump out.
Lol
Usually late January early February sees the release of dates up to around June. Then it's late February/March time that's sees the rest of the calendar appear.
