The oil it'll be running on once it's mapped is Mobil motorsport. It's a 10W60 and I've always run my motors on it.
Off the top of my head I'm not sure tbh. Need to have a look at it and see what's left.
The worn items won't be helping with regard to the crunching into first, but there's no way to rule out if 1st gear synchros are dead until the worn items are replaced.
If it's nailed the synchros your in bother as its a box strip replacement. You also need to factor in that you can no longer...
I think the links to the reviews that have been posted should help you towards making a final decision. There is a lot of owners on here that have written about their experiences with both CT and ED, so it's worth a search or a look through the projects section.
I'm going to lock the thread...
Lol it'll be cheap s**t mineral oil for the initial start up and run in. So that'll be however many miles it takes to get from my house to efi. After that it's done.
Coolant is in!! Just filled and bled it up this minute. Decided not to use Renault type D coolant as I have access to some stuff that's better. It's Scania type FREE! Lol! It's a rather fetching shade of pink as well, so it'll match up with all my dresses.
Well mine isn't helped by the fact that the hot air from under the bonnet is directed straight into the outside air inlet for the heater. I have no skin under my bonnet so it's not sealed up at the bulkhead.
I was supposed to be in there doing a bit more today but I had an attack of the f**k it's.
Yes they've got a price tag mate!
Yep. Piece of piss mate. All you do is alter the settings and the map. Done. The gen90 is a gems software based ecu, so most people should be able to map it. Efi parts...
Lol! Knowing what's in there it would never be given away anyway. There's some quite rare items (in terms of not readily available crap like wossner) and tbh, I don't think you'd ever realise it's true value.
Yeah the gen90 will run the original dash, uch etc etc.
In exchange for ££££'s yeah no problem! Nah unfortunately mate I don't have the time or the temperament for competition. Not my thing at all. I enjoyed helping BIGASH out when and where I could, but that's it.
It's a gen90 mate and is a direct replacement for the oe ecu. It's a very capable ecu...
I run polycarbs on my cup and I can confirm its like a greenhouse. I have no sliders just a pointless pop it vent. It truly is not worth a w**k! All it manages to do is give you tinnitus.
If you fit polycarbs a roof vent is a must as far as I'm concerned. Cools the cockpit down a good amount...
It'll be 2 wheels for the next project mate, so unless you've got an s1000rr I'd be giving it a miss. Honestly though, I'm hoping it lives up to expectations.
