Lol! I'm hoping that scoff will be able to look at the constant inlet vvt on mine and do something with it. It's all there so it would be nice to utilise the feature.
All you need to loop is the 2 pipes on top of the rack that are about in the middle of the rack itself. Lubrication wise - I've had one of these racks in bits to see what the score is regards this very thing. The short answer is, you don't need anything in there to lube the rack
Itself. What you...
Mobil 1 motorsport 10/60 in my engine and Mobil 1 shc in the box currently.
Will be changing to redline mtl in the new box though. Sticking with the same engine oil for the new engine.
There's a mans weapon in that shell. A personal favourite of mine as well. A lump hammer. Lol!
Looks a good project this. Never been a fan of the bug eye, but you don't seem to notice them so much with the black paintwork.
It's either worn engine mounts or the gearbox needs a strip and rebuild.
You could always try adjusting the linkage but I'm not convinced it'll work tbh.
Well the pump will undoubtedly be fucked mate as they run constantly if the engines running. Inspect all the pipes for damage and refill the system with fluid. If your lucky it'll show itself pretty fast.
Ingenious use of the strip LEDs as interior lights! I've got some of those for under cabinet lighting in my kitchen, and it never once occurred to me I could use the left over length for interior lights on my track car! Brilliant! I shall shamelessly steal the idea. Lol!
Cars looking very good...
James used to have one on the race car mate. Very high quality as you would expect with Chris tbh. No flapping either! Lol! They're lighter than my de-skinned steel bonnet as well, which is very light considering its steel.
£10 says you stab yourself in the b****cks on that stud when you go under the bonnet and forget it's there! Lol! I like those fittings though. Seen them on ebay before. Very neat solution.
My de-skinned steel bonnet flaps like mad as well. Ordering a cm composites one soon.
When I was there last August for the Rs oulton day, there was a youth with a blue r26 that was stripped and caged running on slicks, but only on the front.
I have no diff in my car currently. And he couldn't get away from me.
