Did abit more heat protection.
Also making a new shield for the plug leads.
The car seems to be sucking in air as sometimes it idles at 2K. It might be down to the timing but I want it to be spot on before it goes for mapping, so I brought an air compressor and borrowed a smoke machine...
Got a few loose ends tide up last night. Bit more heat protection done, catch can sorted and few bits turned up today.
Gunna smoke test the engine and exhaust to check for leaks tomorrow night or Saturday

The shield over the leads/rocker cover is just a template as I'm waiting on a sheet of aluminium, heat sleeves and gold tape.
Made up a brake servo pipe to link to my RS2 and put some edging around the scuttle cut out for the washer tank as it was cutting my...
Did a bit late Wednesday night
Mounted the catch tank under the coolant tank, didn't really have any where else but it should look tidy out the way.
Finished the washer tank aswell
Also tried to seal the manifold to decat gasket as it was blowing. I hate these joints with the spring...
Finished off relocating the windscreen washer bottle last night, I've just gotta cut a hole in the scuttle panel to access the lid.
Also cut the holes for my gauges.

Unfortunately I can't get my throttle body on due to the tank location, no fault of anyone just a shame.
May sell the tank on as you could easily use this tank with the standard breather plate.
I mainly brought the kit for the breather...
Fits to the head but it doesn't fit mine due to the RS2 manifold.
The tank maybe up for grabs if anyone is interested.
I'll post pics when I'm at work.
It won't be listed yet as the next batch aren't finished yet I don't believe.
£250ish price wise and think it bolts to the head where the cam caps are.
