indeed, need to format it into FAT32
then also, need to press the triangle to allow you to see everything on the hard drive rather than jsut the specified folder.
i just paly them straight from a usb hard drive, none of this messing around with buffering and losing the connection if you are using wireless, usb hdd FTW

very good product, ££££ though, HP used to sell a wan accelerator which was a HP server with riverbed installed, their claims on the compression are pretty amazing!
appliances tend to be more expensive that buying the software plus a server though, you pay for the convenience of buying a single product which just plugs in and needs no installation, plus its normally some shitty dell box with no redundancy, i'd stick with the server idea personally, its not...
lol, cool, every used us?
Our marketing department do love their portfolios/magazines/brochures or whatever they are calling them this month, as long as its not called a catalogue you are fine.
you could actually use any windows cd really, just to get a temporary copy on the laptop to allow you to attach an external hard drive and copy all the info off.
looks like you are sorted now though anyway.
anyone wanting competitive pricing, give one of our security consultants a call on 0870 800 1000 (Softcat), we even have inhouse support engineers for websense, its a big security product for us.
if the computer has two partitions on the hard drive (so a C and a D drive) you can put a windows disc in and install it on the D partition, then you can then back up all your files from the C drive and then reinstall windows onto C and then just delete the windows directory on the D drive and...
i managed to go today and not take a singe picture, not even with my phone, was nice not to be governed by the camera for a change, didn't have to get frustrated by people getting in the shot, was a nice change.
Can't believe the weather held out today, no rain and i have a little sun burn!
i only have the 70-200 f4L and i've found i just need the extra all the time, but am hesitant to get the extender incase it ruins things.
I can't wait to see the challenger, saw it twice at the chicago motor shows i have been to the past few years so will be nice to see it fly up the hill. Saw...
extremely jealous, amazing pics, would love to know how you get those head on ones with the car coming towards you so consistently.
what lens and camera was it?
I have decided not to take my camera tomorrow, i have spent the last two years spending the whole day trying to get decent pics, to...
the hub doesn't go off or anything, you might lose connection to the internet for a second or so while they change your profile but it seems that they reduce it to 1mb between 6 and 6:30 i think and then 6:30-11:30 its capped at 1/2 meg.
They've been doing it for about a year now, you mention...
you are lucky to get 3.6gb tbh, its normally between 3gb and 3.5gb.
Its the same with xp as its the fact that its a 32bit app, thats why i'm not sure whether its vista 'telling me' its using 4gb or whether it actually is now.
I think the latter as it still only shows 3gb physical in task manager.
its an orange so has their 'orange' version of the software.
bit reluctant to change from that as i prefer the way it works over the vanilla.
i was thinking it could be some sort of virus or something.
I love my N82, have done since day one and didn't think anything could piss me off about it but today I was ready to smash the thing to pieces!
The Wifi keeps logging onto access points i have used (i.e. work and home) whenever i am around them and if i end the connection it just reconnects...
before sp1 my laptop said i had 3gb ram, since sp1 it now reports correctly at 4gb so not sure if they have done something to sp1 to allow it to use all the memory or if they have just given in to the consumer and reported that its using all the ram when it isn't so as just not to confuse the...
exactly, these days, most games just do need a decent graphics card, the only games that work well with laptops are things like championship manager or sim city etc.
Something that doesn't rely on its graphics.
Take one of the most popular games of the year, COD4, need a bloody good laptop to...
you can't get a gaming laptop for a grand, not unless you want to play games like solitaire.
I have a £1800 laptop with a 2.5ghz process, RAID 0 hard drives for speed, 4 gb ram and a dedicated 512mb graphics card and even that strugggles to play COD4 at a decent reolution and race driver grid...
