very good product, ££££ though, HP used to sell a wan accelerator which was a HP server with riverbed installed, their claims on the compression are pretty amazing!

if the computer has two partitions on the hard drive (so a C and a D drive) you can put a windows disc in and install it on the D partition, then you can then back up all your files from the C drive and then reinstall windows onto C and then just delete the windows directory on the D drive and...

you are lucky to get 3.6gb tbh, its normally between 3gb and 3.5gb. Its the same with xp as its the fact that its a 32bit app, thats why i'm not sure whether its vista 'telling me' its using 4gb or whether it actually is now. I think the latter as it still only shows 3gb physical in task manager.
