I was of the thought that the EF-S lenses were designed specifically for the smaller sensor cameras so the 10mm did actually mean 10mm, but if you put a non EF-s lens on it would be 10mm x 1.6? Thats why the EF-s lenses aren't compatible with full frame bodies?
