Cheers Rich too!
- for some reason they seem to be on different places on different models.
Seen some on the flap side where the mirror is but I could swear I use to sit in traffic picking mine off when it was up and shut!!
I neeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeed them :o
Re: Mk1 172 Hybrid Track Car Project
Thats the shopping list for mine, I've got the last advosiry on the mot when I bought the car and it says all discs and pads need replacing soon - not a cheap couple of months coming up!
Re: Mk1 172 Hybrid Track Car Project
No rush - still keeps thje flys out ;)
standard valver setup then? I had renault discs, pads on back - discs on front and same pads as you on the willy and the brakes were afwul, yet on my old valver with cheap stuff all round they were fuggin...
I heard that the williams was originally going to be called the Renaultsport Clio 150 before Williams won the championship and it was seen as a good money maker.
^^^ aye those sorry forgot to reply - someone may have just taken them off but not something you'd usually do for no reason!
Good thing imo though if its not been hit as it shows previous owner didn't want stone chips ruining the front end.
On the valver/willy you could wipe it with a rag, dip it in and bobs yer dad a reading.
On the 172 its rag dip, randomness! it was like this on the last block so i'm hazarding a guess that they're all like this!
It just seems so hard to read and inconsistent, I find doing it 4 or 5 times...
I got 280 miles before mine snapped doing a full limiter change into 5th - hence mine was severly damaged!
Should have fixed it properly thought shouldn't they!
