If the regulator has been off the car a while, the cables could have slackened/stretched a little or something so it could well need a little wind up and down to tension itself back up properly.

Buy one of these. You’ll never need to replace it, it will run for 10 hours straight with no issues, parts are easy to get, and they’re really really quiet, unlike the Karcher crap...

We have 2. Lob them in the boot of the car and take the car for MOT/Bodyshop etc and nip back in the scooter. Saves taking two cars and is much quicker due to traffic. brilliant things.

I just sold my Micromax trailer and that will fit in a single garage. (A proper single garage, not none of this new build shite) the trailer is so small it can be towed with a normal car too, no need for a big tow vehicle. very good trailer too for something so small.
