i know the reputation on here, but i much prefer the stance of apex over eibach, but before i spend my cash, is anyone near Fareham that fancies meeting up and letting me have a ride to see for myself???

Have a Phase 1 172, noticed that the boot floor is getting wet, not good as i clean the car all the time,
im guessing its the rear light or boot seal, before i start off are there any other clio usual suspects to check?

I have a Phase 1 172, standard at present,
i want to lower it only looking for springs at this stage (coilovers out of budget at the mo)
want a reasonable drop but not at the expense of the handling,
whats the views? any pics of the drops and constructive handling views appreciate

called the dealer to order in, they have said there is a new loom and plug that needs splicing into the car.
anyone know when this new plug came in and how i check if i already have it on the car as it will save alot of time and money if i just need the sensor and noth both.

would this also cause the revs to be a bit random too, noticed this evening that the revs would be a bit higher at idle but a blip would settle it back down to normal.

hopefully a quick easy fix is out there.
occasionally when coming to a halt i notice that the revs are sticking up around 1500-2000 but if i give the throttle a little blib, they drop down to a normal idle
any thoughts?
looking for ideas to replace the stanrd spoiler or add to it,

ok seriously just try these, to remove the polish white residue etc. use either a rubber (yup old school pencil type) or peanut butter,

i fixed mine, found a thread on here,
something like, get in teh car, but dont turn igntion on, but close all doors.
hold down teh lock door button and hold down for quite a few seconds until you hear the locks and relays all switching, then press the key fob.
im sure if thats slightly wrong...
just fitted cupra on my Ph1, looks great, no part no. needed, just walk in ask for an early cupra splitter and voi-la.
fits straight on, just need to trim a few inches off each end by the wheelarches
