there is a lambda sleeve on Kamracing that is said to cure the emissions light problem but I'm not sure how it works
link here: http://www.kamracing.co.uk/renault/renault-clio-mk2/exhaust/gaskets-fittings/kam-racing-lambda-sleeve-m18.html
anyone fitted this? help would be nice as I'm planning to...
this is normal.
if they sprayed at the same time the pressure would be split in two, this way you get all the pressure from the pump on one side at the time
you sure the k-tec ones are ported and not just matched? best thing for me would be to get a ported inlet shipped and me sending back my inlet after install since I'm overseas
the 172 inlets are slightly different from the 182 ones? (different design) or I'm talking s**t?
I will be tempted to buy them if they are a direct fit
Besides AWT is there anyone who makes ported inlets?
As far as I know these are indeed ported and they are the real deal if you want to make the most out of your inlets.
It seems like few people run them and couldn't really find some feedback on these so far
I am tempted so if anyone have them installed let me know what you think
Cheers!
I have something similar
I mapped the car using the RS tuner 2 days ago and then went for a drive. the next day after the emission light came on. I plugged the rs tuner and cleared it out but came back few hours later.
Is this a coincidence or can it be related to the mapping?
I used the...
try as JRS182 said.
I also have a guide about this stuff in the guides section. I found some dirt inside one of my washer jets which prevented the rubber thing to seal properly.
but you'll figure it out once you'll take it apart
I have a friend having some troubles on start up (clio 172 also)
basically the car struggles to start (takes about 3 seconds to fire up)
what he does to semi-counter this is:
ignition on
wait till lights off
ignition off an immidiately ingnition on and attempting the start without waiting for...
1700?
680 for the 428's an another 100 to fastchip for a custom map (if you already have the rs tuner) why more than that? 421 yes you may need stand alone but many run 428 on std ecu custom mapped.
or get some custom dyno mapping for 3-400 and still you reach 1000-1100 for 428's fitted...
my emisions light came on after I had a blast las night after reprogramming the car. anybody else got this? I hope it's non related to the rs tuner. As I can recall you can switch off the light with the rs tuner?
all done now, the car feels good. I like the increased idle speed as I have solid mounts. feels smoother at low rpm's and more eager to go. new 7500 rpm limit is nice also
Thx Henk for the quick email replies and the support!
worth the money ;)
one more thing,
when connected the rs tuner to my car , clicked on "about" and so on.. the code I had to send to henk was smth like EEBEVF1CB1Nxxxxxxxx. it looks like that code contains the VIN number from the previous owner right?
although I imagined that should contain the VIN number from my...
bought my rs tuner recently and connected it to my car.

I thought about giving an update on this
car keeps using about 1,5 liters in a 10 000 km interval (used max 0,5 l of Elf before)
I received an advice in trying to use a different high performance oil and see if that helps as some cars get along better with other brands.
I've seen some people...
