yes I made the update. it works now after I selected only about 15 parameters to be shown. I also encountered some problems when connecting to the ecu ("connection to the ECU could not been established" or smth like that) but after a system reboot this issue went away.
Henk, you will receive an...
just bought my rs tuner and before unlocking it I wanted to plug it in to see how it works. but when I click on the live data button the rs tuner shuts down with an error - rs tuner has encountered a problem and needs to close..
any thoughts on this?
A friend's 172 needs both rear shocks replaced and he found some mk V gti rear shocks at a good price and some guys say they can mod them to fit the clio
is this a wise move or they're a totally different specification?
might worth the effort as they probably will last longer..
thx!
the car is ready and working, needs the MOT to be done and the insurance. will post pics and vids asap.
tutuur, I'll send you a pm regarding the drawing
what about the fork pads and pivot? they must gather clutch dust as well. a bit strange why some areas do not require lubrification while others do, even if they work in the same dusty environment
I was looking in this manual http://www.fastchip.nl/media/doc/clio2/F4R_730.pdf
and found something about the parts that need lubrication when dealing with the clutch
copy paste from the document:
Right-hand sun wheel splines- what is this?

the car feels ok with this but probably I'm gonna buy the BMC oil next time and sell this one. only bought it because the BMC wasn't available at that time. I'm keeping the cleaner though ;)
was going to have it serviced tomorrow but the supplier ran out of moutul 300v so I topped it with some elf 5w40. will remain like this till the next week when I'm gonna do the oil change and the rest
for one week and 300 miles it should ;)
thx
wanted today to get the bmc air filter cleaning kit and the supplier said that it's out of stock so he recommended me the Motorex air filter cleaning kit instead. being a well known brand I went for it.
the thing is, the label says it's a foam air filter kit and the BMC is made from cotton
am I...
I had all the powerflex kit once, now only antiroll bar plus dog bone. no difference, maybe a little more precise handling but hard to tell if you're human
the ride is the same, I heard all sort of stupid stories like "it will make your teeth hurt" and so on. maybe on a normal car but if you...
looks like the demand for the red ones is low, blue ones were available straight away.
so it took some time for "julie" to make them ;)
at least I had no problems in these 2 months with the old ones
fitted these today after 2 months of waiting for them
and they're made by Julie :D
the length of about 2 of them is a bit off but they fit nice and the car runs well
I will speak to the owner and ask him. and yes, it will be a hydraulic clutch
no, because the fly along with the clutch kit are on their way. once we'll have the fly the spacer will be machined.
yes there will be a trigger wheel on that pulley on the other side and the sensor positioned.
