    Camber bolts - few questions

I've seen someone here complaining about the camber had changed on a track day, he had coilovers with elongated holes. As I understand the top bolts have to be really tight in order to keep the camber. Even so, I think the camber bolts are better in keeping the camber. I'll report if anything...

    DIY camber gauge

I had my bolts fitted today (at last!) and not being careful on the gauge I accidentally went to 1,85 negative on one side and since I struggled to get the top std bolt off (not having quite the right tools-mainly adjustable spanners) I decided to let the camber at this value for now. The...

£3.50 answer to a stiff and creaky clutch?

you mean the fork (or lever as you said initially) fingers that press the release bearing onto the pressure plate? is that where you greased? never heard of clutch diaphragm before

£3.50 answer to a stiff and creaky clutch?

Help with shocks? 182 or 182 cup?

according to k-tec there are 2 different shocks for the rear: the 172/182 ones and the 182 cup/cup packed ones.

Help with shocks? 182 or 182 cup?

go and measure the front bolt spacing on the shocks, if it's 60 mm then you have the cup suspension as well, if it's 54 then you have the normal sport suspension.

    197, new tyres suggestion

try to get the hankook RS-2, they are cheaper than most top brands and very well rated here. if you can't find them in your country order them from outside. they are very good in the dry but wear quickly If you want something good all-round (durability plus grip) get the new michelin pilot sport 3

now the car works fine after some start/stops. so don't think that anything would came out at a diagnosis. basically I have to wait for it to go wrong again and call someone to have the car inspected while still cold, otherwise problem could easily go away if I'm going there and the engine gets...

    Missfire, faulty leads or..

Today when the car struggled to start again (after 2 days of wet weather/fog/light rain) I realized that it only did this when the weather was wet and cold (late autumn and early spring months) Each time the cure was to take out the leads and clean them and/or driving till the engine was up to...

    DIY camber gauge

once the bolts will arrive I'll set the camber myself, then after a while I'm gonna do the tracking and compare their results with mine-camber wise ;) there is obviously room for improvement, first thing I want is to make a system that holds the gauge to the rim, then the reading will be a lot...

    DIY camber gauge

yeah it's easy if you live in UK, Ireland or Scotland ... Romania.. not so good, they don't deliver there. found myself another website but they didn't shipped here also. 22 incl vat is not bad, but transport will be an extra 30-40 so basically about 50-60, cost me 3 pounds to do this ;)

I'm just curious about how many experienced problems with these systems? many say they crack, others are pleased.
