Get ABS sensors out of the front hub?

  182 trackday racer
Going for a complete fresh up of my new car during the winter. One thing I need to to is sand blast front hubs, paint and mount new bearings. Troble = I cant get those damn ABS sensors out of the hub

Anyone have a good method to share?

if hes sandblasting the hubs then i assume theyre coming off the car, in that case put the block of wood on the sensor (non cable end) and hit the block of wood with the hammer. the wood is softer than the sensor so it will damage the wood rather than the sensor yet you can still shift it by hitting it with a hammer.

i use a small 4lb hammer to do it and its never failed. granted its hard to do it while its on the car but remove the driveshaft and you should get decent enough access to it
