Nice one for the link guppy, was clio_il trying to say that the k-tec ones will be making less power than the gdi (which given they were cheaper, i would expect anyway!)
Looks good!
Be interesting to see how it works out cost wise with the GDI ITBs (assuming you spec the wilder cams etc).
Something I would love to do with mine, but the sensible side of me is telling me to save for something faster out the box.
Well I love mine Ant, as you say its not a metallic colour, but thats what attracted me to mine in the first place. Certainly dont see many of them around here.
When you go see it you might find that it looks completely different to the pictures - the smallest change in light seems to make the...
That looks really good, and price wise I don't think its expensive considering the quality finish.
Its all well having a cheaper retrim to save money, but when the glue starts peeling and the seats go really baggy you'll prob regret not spending a little extra.
Firstly, well done Chris - looks like an awesome meet.
Absolutely gutted I didnt come - spent 4 hours cleaning the car on Sat along with my mate, but we ended up getting so pissed up Sat eve that I didnt feel safe to drive on Sun.
Have to remember to stay away from the beer before the next run!
Those wheels look s**t hot!
Don't think the 152s look too small at all, what size tryes are on there mate? They look slightly lower profile than what most people run (which makes them look better on yours imo)
I have cut a good 4 inches off my samco induction elbow, pulled all the standard CAF / acoustic valve stuff out and run some 80mm CAF from down by the horns in the front wheel arch.
Noticeable gain from when i ran the BMC with no CAF, and personally i found it to loud without CAF.
I have...
I have cancelled two policies now and they just took the premium, divided by 365 and worked out how many days 'unused' insurance was left and refunded me that, minus an admin fee.
The AA even refunded me back their broker fee because they were unable to offer me the most competitive price. Winner.
1.2 bullets have been done, and I think when people play with the boot badges they tend to replace them with the new style badges as apposed to remove them completely.
In my experience, those who know its a 1*2 wouldnt be fooled by lack of badges/1.2 bullets.
However, some people around here see the sport badge on my boot and must think its a 1.2 'sport' and try and do a traffic light skank, usually resulting in an overtaking fail on their part.
I think you will be looking at around £300 for the 36k service at an independent specialist - more from a Renault main dealer.
Be careful though, as i was quoted £200 for a 36k service from Renault dealer but they didnt realise that aux belt needed changing, they were only going to change...
Nope.
But they did say that when I added Turinis / Cat back exhaust I might have to pay the £25 (iirc) admin fee. So, I'll do both at the same time and only pay one amendment fee.
You've got to speak as you find, and they have been great so far.
They have been good to me so far, have added sportlines and a BMC CDA this year and they havent charged me an admin fee either time.
Funnily enough they sent me my renewal price this morning: £670 (down £80 from last year).
Tried an equivilant quote with flux: £999.
AS you said, its all about what you think is best for YOUR car and what you can afford.
Out of interest, whats the ball park for CAT cams? £500, £600...??
