gmc motorpsort did my friends 106 TB kit, they couldnt fit it for some reason and they were the ones who designed it.
had to take the car and kit and get someone else to do it.

yea, I had this after a hard track day in my old evo, turned out it was lack of oil to the head, making the tappets really noisy.
wrong oil grade would cause this too, whats the mileage? if its high they will be worn

for future reference it turned out it was the ecu all along, dead ignition drivers.
andy persuaded omex to replace it, car is running now!
andy is sorting out the rest of the wiring which has been played about with as he aint happy with it, neither was I tbh.
