i put the xover on the tweets and connected the mids up as usual. its just not worth the hassle.
once i get a new amp and have the sub on at a fairly low level ill just use the xover in the HU
i think its just too difficult to run a new wire through the door. is this what everyone does?
the tweeter does have a capacitor on it but the mid in the door didnt so does that mean it doesnt have one at all? im not gonna amp them either.
dash is still of btw...
coat hanger did it for me, really sprap the wire to the hanger
double up the hanger and wrap round, then clamp it together with pliers, you will have to pierce a hole like i did yesterday
just in the process of replacing all speakers, can i just use the crossovers that are in place now for the front components?
would have to put one on the tweeters but would the mid bass be ok just plugging in to existing connections?
also the new fronts sit close to the plastic door pod...
nearly all the panels are cliped on, took 5 mins to take the door panel off
need star bolts for the bolts and thats it, what are u sould proofing with something like dynamat?
ok here what im looking at, if u follow the bonnet release from the front it goes here

found it but it comes out below the wiper resevoir, the grommet is tiny tried to push the wire through and it impossible.
cant hardly see grommet form th engine as its virtually covered by stuff above which cant be removed, there no heat insulating/ sound proofing around it either so it must...
is it ok to run all the wires down one side ?
will it cause any probs with sound at all?
trying to make a custon mount to put an amp in the rear quarter.

been to renault and they were fairly helpful.
whilst taking the dash offf (well trying) i have bent the metal clips that hold it to the airbag therefore i need to take it out.
are there any precutions i should take, disconnected the batt anything else??
nope was brand new 4miles on clock.
i have now managed to get in back on, it slids forward but thats it the drivers side is fre its just the passenger airbag ares that is preventing it from coming off.
the clips abover the airbag is the problem but i cant see or get my hands in to find...
i used the guide took out all the screws but thetre is something stopping it coming out.
all along the window it wont budge one bit, the front bit is lifted up and i now cant get it back in or out! so annoyed
any help please!!
